The Limnologist was an achievement that was introduced with Cataclysm, the objective of this achievement is to catch 43 different species of freshwater fish. This is a fairly easy achievement to accomplish it just takes some time.<\/p>\n<p>Below is a list of fish needed to complete the achievement and their location. Unlike The Oceanographer achievement, none of these fish are seasonal. Two particular species have a really low droprate from Highland Mix School pools and two other species have higher drop rates at different times throughout the day. The largest grouping of these nodes is around Skettis.<br \/>\n<strong>Golden Darter <\/strong>&#8211; Terokkar Forest<br \/>\n<strong>Goldenscale Vendorfish <\/strong>&#8211; Terokkar Forest &#8211; This species is actually fished from Highland Mixed School nodes around Terokkar Forest. The largest grouping of these nodes is around Skettis. It won&#8217;t take nearly as long as The Oceanographer because none of these fish are seasonal.
