Welcome fellow anglers. The Limnologist was an achievement that was introduced with Cataclysm, the objective of this achievement is to catch 43 different species of freshwater fish. This is a fairly easy achievement to accomplish it just takes some time.<\/p>\n
Below is a list of fish needed to complete the achievement and their location. Unlike The Oceanographer achievement, none of these fish are seasonal. Two particular species have a really low droprate from Highland Mix School pools and two other species have higher drop rates at different times throughout the day. All of this information is noted below.<\/p>\n
Eastern Kingdoms\/Kalimdor:<\/strong><\/p>\n Albino Cavefish<\/strong> – Deepholm Outland:<\/strong><\/p>\n Barbed Gill Trout <\/strong>– Zangarmarsh Northrend:<\/strong><\/p>\n Barrelhead Goby <\/strong>– Sholazar Basin This another one of the easier fishing achievements to get. It won’t take nearly as long as The Oceanographer because none of these fish are seasonal.
