And the new Big Brother is … EA!

I’m sure everyone now has read the article about Battlefield 2142 being bundled with Spyware.
Completely ridiculous, is what I have to say. More reason to stay away from titles being released by EA. Which is sad because EA owns exclusive rights to a couple licenses, and some of their titles are absolutely amazing. [...]

Piracy: Is it really killing the gaming industry?

I am responding to this story in which Kevin Cloud blames piracy for “killing the PC game industry”. I find this hard to believe that a group of people can single handedly hurt one of the fastest growing industries. Development companies have been spewing this propaganda for years now, and games still continue [...]

A heated rant about heat

It’s too damn hot these days. Why is it so hot? Is it global warming? Are we moving closer to the sun? Is there an alien race that is slowly making the planet warmer so it is more habitable to them?
I highly doubt it. I think it’s so damn hot [...]

YouOS, an operating system for your web browser

Bring your system to its knees.

I dont have the most extravagant system around:
Amd64 3000+
1.5 gigs of Ram
BFG GF 6600 GT Overclocked
But I was able to run OSX Tiger and Windows Vista ontop of XP Pro at the same time! I left an mp3 playing to see if it would get choppy, which it didnt.

Getting Better Technical Support [Part 1]

Ive been working in the technical support industry for about 6 months, supporting cable tv (analog, digital, hdtv), cable internet, and voip. I have compiled a small list of tips that will make your next technical support experience so much easier.
1. Have your account information, and identification ready. Why? Every company I [...]

And the collection grows

Today I received the brand new in-box, still sealed copy of F-Zero for the SNES, and yesterday I received my copies of Gauntlet and Gauntlet II for the NES system. I love ebay, its the best! Which is why I have ebay.attackofthegamer.com. Which realistically is just a link to my selling [...]

Attack of the Gamer upgrades, Geeklog to WordPress!

I have made the decision to change the software that runs this site.  Originally I were using Geeklog, which is great software, but it is a little to robust for what I wanted to do with this site.  I have made the decision to convert the whole site over to WordPress.  All of the features [...]
